Quest-Locked Bosses
These bosses require a quest before you can fight them. Requirements are the quest plus its own prerequisites.

How to Plan Your Boss Unlocks
- Pick your money maker. Vorkath, Zulrah, and the Gauntlet are the classic first targets.
- Trace the quest chain backwards. Each unlock sits at the end of a long chain — see the optimal quest order for the sequence.
- Check the stat gates. Use the skill calculators to see exactly how far you are from the requirements.

01What quest unlocks Vorkath?
Dragon Slayer II unlocks Vorkath. It is a grandmaster quest that needs 200 Quest points, several high skill levels, and a long chain of prerequisite quests.
02What quest do I need for Zulrah?
Zulrah requires completion of Regicide to access Zul-Andra. That means finishing the elf quest line, including Underground Pass and the prerequisites that gate it.
03Which bosses need no quests?
King Black Dragon, Kalphite Queen, Giant Mole, Sarachnis, Scurrius, Nightmare, Nex, Chambers of Xeric, the Inferno, Fight Caves, Cerberus, Alchemical Hydra, Wintertodt, and Tempoross all have no quest requirement — only levels, gear, or keys.
04Do I need quests for the Gauntlet?
Yes. The Gauntlet and Zalcano both require Song of the Elves, which needs Mourning's End Part II and a set of level 70 skills.
05What quest unlocks the Tombs of Amascut?
Beneath Cursed Sands unlocks the Tombs of Amascut raid. It is a Master-level quest in the Kharidian desert series.
