  • Beer tankard or Beer (obtainable during quest)
  • Tinderbox
  • Either a raw shark, raw manta ray, or raw sea turtle
  • Lyre, obtainable as a drop from Lanzig, Borrokar, Lensa, or Freidir, or the skills and materials to make one:
  • 25 Fletching, 40 Woodcutting, and 40 Crafting (all boostable)
  • Woodcutting axe
  • Knife
  • Potato (obtainable during quest)
  • Onion (obtainable during quest)
  • Cabbage (obtainable during quest)

  • 40 Combat
  • 48 Agility (when locating the Draugen)

  • Armour and a weapon (note: Ranged is not effective)
  • 3-5 prayer potions

  • Fairy ring or may also be used.
  • Fairy ring might be most useful for players with agility levels above 57 as the fence shortcut, northeast of Rellekka, can be utilized.
  • 7 rings of recoil (only if attempting to defeat Koschei's final form)

Walkthrough

  1. Starting out. Talk to Brundt in the longhall to start the quest. (Fairy ring and run south-west to Rellekka), or if started or finished Mountain Daughter The trials may be done in any order, however this quick guide will show you the fastest order.
  2. Manni the Reveller, Sigli the Huntsman, and Olaf the Bard. Talk to Manni the Reveller while in the longhall. Take the keg of beer and challenge Manni to a drinking contest. You will lose. If you did not bring a beer, grab the beer tankard now.
  3. Seers' Village. Teleport to Camelot or walk to Seers' Village. If you are making the lyre yourself: Spin the golden fleece into a ball of golden wool while in Seers' Village (upstairs in a house south-west of the bank).
  4. Back to Rellekka. Use a Rellekka house teleport to return, or simply walk back. If walking, left-click on your talisman to check if The Draugen is nearby on your way. If so, kill him. Use the beer, or beer tankard, on the council workman by the bridge south of Rellekka to obtain strange object. Go north across the bridge, then walk a bit west until you see a small narrow path heading south into the water. (The large rib cage sticki...
  5. Sigmund the Merchant and Swensen the Navigator. Talk to Sigmund The Merchant in the market west of the longhall. Talk to the Sailor on the docks to the north-west. Talk to Olaf the Bard just east of the longhall.
  6. Thorvald the Warrior. Go to a bank (The Seers' Village bank is close) and deposit all of your items (you cannot have any weapons, armour, or runes). Bring equipment for the fight: A dramen branch (Note: Requires 31 and must have started Lost City), celastrus bark (requires 40), or a goblin paint cannon
  7. Peer the Seer. Talk to Peer the Seer south-west of the market. He will deposit all your items except anything that is unbankable. (you cannot progress through this part of the quest if anything in your inventory is unbankable). Open the door to his house, south-west of the market (with a green bed), and read the riddle.
  8. Finishing up. Talk to Brundt the Chieftain. Congratulations, quest complete!

You need a raw shark, raw manta ray or raw sea turtle for one trial; ironmen without 76 Fishing can buy raw shark from Rufus or Frankie, or get it rarely from Wintertodt or barracuda salvage.
