Walkthrough

  1. Talk to the Mysterious Stranger. Speak to the Mysterious Stranger by the Theatre of Blood entrance in Ver Sinhaza to start the quest.
  2. Ranis' head. Go down the stairs to the north-east, kill a Vyrewatch for a key, unlock the southern gate and open the coffin.
  3. The spider cave. Head to the cave north of Darkmeyer, follow the path to the egg sac, search the skeleton and read the sticky note.
  4. Get sulphuric acid. Talk to Daer Krand in the Sisterhood Sanctuary (south of the Slepe graveyard) to obtain sulphuric acid.
  5. Destroy the egg sac. Return to the cave and use the acid on the egg sac — you do not need to kill the spiders — then show the eggs to the Stranger.
  6. Nature Grotto. Wearing a ghostspeak amulet, talk to Filliman Tarlock at the grotto (fairy ring BIP). Kill the level 302 Hespori east of the grotto and chop it for hespori bark.
  7. Theatre of Blood. Complete a Theatre of Blood raid (entry mode recommended) and talk to the Mysterious Stranger again to finish.

Rewards

  • 2 Quest points
  • Four antique lamps, each giving 20,000 experience in Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic or Hitpoints (level 50+)

Around level 95 combat is recommended, with high-end gear for all combat styles, healing food, potions and a way to inflict poison or venom.

You need A Taste of Hope and its prerequisites, plus the ability to complete a Theatre of Blood raid (entry mode works) and defeat a level 302 Hespori. There are no skill requirements.
