โ“Frequently Asked Questions

What calculators are available for OSRS?

We offer skill calculators for all 23 OSRS skills including combat, agility, cooking, crafting, farming, firemaking, fishing, fletching, herblore, hunter, magic, mining, prayer, runecrafting, smithing, thieving, woodcutting, and the new sailing skill. We also provide a combat level calculator and experience table for planning your progression.

How do OSRS skill calculators work?

Our skill calculators show you different training methods for each skill, the experience they provide, costs, and time estimates. Enter your current level and target level, then the calculator displays various activities with their GP/XP ratios, experience rates, and total costs to help you choose the best training method for your goals and budget.

What is the fastest skill to 99 in OSRS?

Cooking is typically the fastest skill to reach 99, taking only 30-40 hours with good methods like cooking sharks or karambwans. Other fast skills include Fletching (40-50 hours with darts), Firemaking (35-45 hours with wintertodt), and Prayer (under 10 hours with gilded altar, though it's expensive).

How much does it cost to get 99 in expensive skills?

Costs vary significantly. Prayer costs 150-200M GP for 99 using dragon bones. Herblore costs 100-150M GP. Construction costs 150-200M GP. Crafting can cost 100-150M GP. However, many skills like Cooking, Smithing, and Magic can profit while training or break even. Use our calculators to compare methods and costs for your specific situation.

What is the combat calculator used for?

The combat calculator determines your combat level based on your combat skills (Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Prayer, Ranged, Magic). It also shows you exactly which skills to train to reach your desired combat level, useful for account builds like pures, zerkers, or maintaining specific combat brackets for PvP.

Can I use these calculators for Ironman accounts?

Yes! Our calculators work for all account types including Ironman, Hardcore Ironman, and Ultimate Ironman. However, some training methods may not be practical for Ironmen who can't use the Grand Exchange. Focus on methods that gather your own resources or use shops and NPCs.

How accurate are the GP and time estimates?

Our calculators use average rates and current Grand Exchange prices where applicable. Actual costs and times can vary based on your efficiency, attention level, gear, and market price fluctuations. The estimates provide good baseline planning but individual results may differ.
