Dragonfruit Pie (+4 Boost)

Duration: 4 minutes per pie (lose 1 level/min).

  • Animal Magnetism: 1,000 Fletching XP

What Are Vale Totems?

New Fletching training method in Auburnvale (Varlamore). Most XP per log!

How it works:
  1. Woodcut logs (Mahogany/Teak/Yew/Magic recommended).
  2. Fletch logs into items (e.g., Magic logs → Magic longbows).
  3. Use 1 log + 4 fletched items on totem pole.
  4. Get XP for placing totem + carving + adding 4 items.
Example: Magic log (183 XP) → Fletch to longbow → Add to totem = Much more total XP!

Requirements & Rewards

  • Location: Auburnvale, Varlamore.
  • Requirement: 20+ Fletching (lower levels = fewer items needed).
  • Rewards: Vale offerings → Research Points → Bowstring Spool and Fletching Knife.

Best for Mains or Ironmen?

✓ Ironmen (Highly Recommended)

Self-sufficient! Woodcut logs → fletch → train. No GE needed.

Mains (Expensive)

Buying logs = costly. Bows/darts more efficient for mains with GP.

3. During Agility Laps

Make darts AFK while doing agility. Multitask!

Settings Tip

Uncheck "Make X" for darts!

Spend 300 Slayer points to unlock the Broader Fletching ability from any Slayer master. This grants the ability to fletch broad bolts and broad arrows.

Step-by-Step Method

  1. Buy unfinished broad bolts from any Slayer master for ~200 GP each. Stock is unlimited, so buy in bulk.
  2. Add feathers to each bolt (15 XP per bolt, ~300k XP/hr).
  3. Sell completed broad bolts on the GE for 300-400 GP each.

Fletching is one of the best skills to train passively alongside other activities. Stack tens of thousands of XP per hour while doing completely different skills.

🏃 Between Agility Obstacles

Fletch darts or attach feathers to bolts during the 2-4 second gap between obstacles. Works at any rooftop course. Best with broad bolts for profit + XP.

🪤 During Hunter Trap Placement

Between setting/checking traps, fletch broad bolts or arrow shafts. Salamanders and chinchompas have perfect 3-5 second idle windows.

🌱 Between Farming Patches

During herb runs, fletch a few inventories between patches while running. Broad bolts are ideal since you carry feathers + unfinished bolts everywhere.
