Quest Requirements

Items Needed

  • A method to damage vampyres (Efaritay's aid or silver weaponry such as Wolfbane, silver sickle, silver/ blessed axe, Silverlight, Darklight or Arclight)
  • 1 piece of food to enter Burgh de Rott
  • Spade
  • 1-5 buckets (5 recommended)
  • Any pickaxe
  • Hammer
  • 11 regular planks
  • 44 nails
  • Swamp paste
  • 10 raw mackerel or 10 snail meats
  • 10 bronze axes, 4 tinderboxes

Walkthrough

  1. Start and reach Burgh de Rott. Climb down the trapdoor behind the Canifis pub, search the wall and talk to Veliaf Hurtz. Talk to Florin, put food in the chest and enter Burgh de Rott.
  2. Clear the pub basement. Talk to Razvan, mine the rubble blocking the pub trapdoor, mine the remaining rubble below and fill buckets with the remnants, then use them on the rubble pile outside.
  3. Repair the general store. Talk to Razvan and Aurel, then use planks and nails on the store roof and damaged wall. Assemble the crate of bronze axes, mackerel/snails and tinderboxes for Aurel.
  4. Repair the bank and furnace. Talk to Cornelius and use planks, swamp paste and nails on the broken bank booth and outer wall. Repair the furnace with steel bars, coal and a tinderbox.
  5. Drive out the vampyres. Talk to Gadderanks, the Vampyre Juvinate and Wiskit, then kill the two juvinates and Gadderanks using a silver weapon or Efaritay's aid. Report to Veliaf, then talk to Polmafi.
  6. The Rod of Ivandis. Escort Ivan Strom through Temple Trekking, get a key from Drezel and read The Sleeping Seven. Make a silvthrill rod from soft clay, silver, mithril and a sapphire, enchant it, dip it in the Paterdomus well and return to Veliaf.
