OSRS Nature Spirit walkthrough, requirements and rewards

Nature Spirit unlocks the ability to fight ghasts and grants the Nature Spirit altar, while rewarding Crafting, Defence and Hitpoints experience. It requires Priest in Peril and The Restless Ghost.

Walkthrough

- Reach Filliman. Leave the temple and run south through Mort Myre Swamp (enter through the gate) to the Nature Grotto north-west of Mort'ton.
- Bring out Filliman. Attempt to enter the grotto, wear your ghostspeak amulet and talk to Filliman. Take the washing bowl off the bench to find a mirror, then use it on him.
- Return his journal. Search the grotto tree for his journal and use it on Filliman to receive a druidic spell.
- Solve the stones puzzle. Cast the spell next to a rotting log, pick the mushroom, then use the mushroom on the light-brown stone and the used spell card on the grey stone.
- Become the Nature Spirit. Stand on the orange stone and tell Filliman you solved it, then enter the hole and search the grotto to give him your silver sickle.
- Kill the ghasts. Use the silver sickle (b)'s Bloom ability to fill your druid pouch, then use it on ghasts and kill three of them.
- Finish up. Click the grotto in the cave to redecorate it and complete the quest.

01How do I enter Mort Myre Swamp for Nature Spirit?
You must enter through the gate, otherwise Filliman will not appear at the grotto.
02What are the Nature Spirit requirements?
Priest in Peril and The Restless Ghost, plus a silver sickle and a ghostspeak amulet.
03Can I kill ghasts straight away?
Ghasts cannot be fought until you use a filled druid pouch on them, which makes them attackable.
04What level are the ghasts in Nature Spirit?
The three ghasts you must kill are level 30. They can rot your food, so eat carefully or bring food you do not mind losing.
05What does the Nature Spirit altar do?
The altar in the Nature Grotto restores your prayer points and temporarily boosts them by 2. It is a useful pit stop while training in Mort Myre Swamp.
06How do I get a silver sickle for Nature Spirit?
You need a silver sickle to progress. Ironmen can make one with 18 Crafting by using a silver bar on a furnace with a sickle mould.
07Is Nature Spirit worth doing?
Yes. It unlocks the Nature Spirit altar and the ability to fight ghasts, and it is required for later Morytania quests including A Taste of Hope and Sins of the Father.
