OSRS Olaf's Quest walkthrough, requirements and rewards

Olaf's Quest recovers the lost treasure of Olaf's grandfather and opens a cave of brine rats. It needs 40 Firemaking and 50 Woodcutting, and ends with a safespottable level 100 Ulfric.

Walkthrough

- Start the quest. Talk to Olaf Hradson near the fairy ring east of Rellekka, then chop the windswept tree up the mountain and give him the logs.
- Help Olaf. Travel to Rellekka, talk to Ingrid Hradson near the well and Volf Olafson by the helmet shop, then return to Olaf and use damp planks on the fire pit.
- Follow the treasure trail. Return to the tree and dig next to it, go east then north through the tunnel and kill a skeleton fremennik for a key.
- Open the wall. Search the picture wall to the far west and press East, North, West, South and Confirm, then search it again to walk through.
- Cross the bridge. Pick up two rotten barrels and six ropes, use the barrels on the missing bridge portions and open the gate with the matching key shape.
- Finish up. Search the chest again and defeat or avoid Ulfric (the safespot is the dirt north of his gravestone).
