Throne of Miscellania is an Experienced medium quest that rewards Management of Miscellania and 10,000 coins (inside the Miscellania coffers). It requires completion of Heroes' Quest and The Fremennik Trials.

  • Iron bar
  • Any common, non-silver ring (such as a gold ring) that you're willing to lose (not onyx/dragonstone/explorer/beacon/'perfect' ring/nature/pineapple/Charos/fremennik/ancient/key)
  • At least one of the following to gain favour during the quest
  • to buy flowers from Flower Girl (fastest method, but click intensive)
  • An axe and 45 Woodcutting to cut maple trees (slower, but more AFK than buying flowers manually, since one click yields multiple logs and therefore multiple instances of favour)
  • A rake and 10 Farming to rake flax
  • A pickaxe and 35 Mining to mine coal
  • A harpoon or lobster pot and 35 Fishing to fish tuna, lobsters or swordfish
  • Logs (obtainable during the quest if you bring an axe)

Recommended

  • Flowers you are willing to lose (can be bought from Flower Girl in Miscellania for 15 coins, or you can plant and pick mithril seeds; trollweiss or any of the Farming flowers will not work.)
  • If seeking the Prince's trust: a cake (chocolate cakes work too)
  • If seeking the Princess's trust: a shortbow or longbow (no magic shortbow (i), Seercull, composite, ogre, or training bows) you are willing to lose
  • Weight-reducing clothing
  • Stamina or energy potions
  • Dramen/Lunar staff for fairy rings

  1. Travel to Miscellania. Travel to Miscellania (Either go to Rellekka middle dock to travel by sailor or fairy code: ) If you do not have flowers yet, buy some from the Flower Girl in the castle courtyard for 15gp. Speak with King Vargas on the of the south-west castle. Speak with Princess Astrid in the room directly north of the King.   2. Now use the dance emote inside. Now use the dance emote inside her room Keep speaking with her, choosing the flattering options (see below) until the dialogue is just "Good Day". "That sounds like a good idea." "What happened next?" "I'm quite fond of it myself" "And what a great bard he makes!" "I suppose you don't have much opportunity to." "It's a lovely little country."
  3. Use the bow in your inventory.   5. Exit the castle and head east. Exit the castle and head east, across the bridge to the other castle. It's advised to clear the weeds from the herb and flax crops outside the main gates of the Miscellania castle every time you run past to save time on gaining favour which you need later on in the quest.
