Elemental Workshop II continues the Elemental Workshop series and unlocks mind equipment such as the mind helmet. It needs 20 Magic and 30 Smithing (both boostable) plus Elemental Workshop I.

- Pickaxe (if obtaining elemental ore during the quest)
- Hammer
- 2 elemental metals (3 for a mind shield), or 2 elemental ore and 8 coal
- The battered key from Elemental Workshop I
Recommended
- Combat level 15+
- Fast travel to the Exam Centre (Digsite teleport or pendant)
- Fast travel to Seers' Village (Camelot teleport)
- A restore or magic potion if your Magic is below 40 and you want a mind shield
- The slashed book if you want to smith the mind shield
Walkthrough

- Read the book. Search the bookcase in the south-east of the Exam Centre for the beaten book and scroll, read both, then travel to Seers' Village.
- Get the hatch key. Enter the Elemental Workshop, search the machinery in the north water room for the hatch key, and gather and smelt two or three elemental ores.
- Make the crane claw. Use one bar on the workbench to make a crane claw (not a helmet), then pull the south-west lever and use the claw on the old crane.
- Fix the machine. Connect the junction box pipes correctly, find the three cogs and the pipe piece in the crates, and fit them to the press, wind tunnel and broken pipe.
- Operate the machine. Run the elemental metal through the crane, steam press, water tank and fan on the jig cart to produce a primed bar.
- Finish up. Take the bar to the mind room, drain your Magic into it with the extractor hat, then use the primed mind bar on the workbench with the beaten book in your inventory to make a mind helmet.
