November 2026 is Quest Month. Jagex is releasing at least one quest every week, including The Graveyard and a set of surprise quests that are not revealed until launch.

The plan was polled at RuneFest and passed. This page collects everything confirmed so far, including the reward poll and the questing quality-of-life changes.

The Schedule

Week Release
November The Graveyard quest, already planned before Quest Month
Weekly At least five additional quests, at least one per week
Throughout Small questing QoL updates

The additional quests are Novice to Experienced tier, with most at Novice or Intermediate. They vary in tone, from light-hearted to darker stories. All award XP and quest points.

The Graveyard is the known headline quest: a Master Fremennik sequel with 65 Sailing and 65 Agility requirements, 150,000 XP in combat lamps and a new Agility course. See the Graveyard quest guide for the full list.

Surprise Quests

The new quests are surprise quests, following the same approach as The Ribbiting Tale of a Lily Pad Labour Dispute and Scrambled from Varlamore. Jagex will not reveal the story, characters or location before release.

Any notable rewards are still polled. That is the trade-off: you know what the reward does, but not which quest gives it.

Polled Rewards

Three rewards went to poll. One was removed after feedback.

Bone Storage

An untradeable back-slot item that holds up to 28 bones of any type.

  • When set to open, bones are stored automatically when picked up.
  • You must remove bones at a bank before burying or offering them.
  • You can wear it on your back.
  • If lost, you recover it from an NPC for a fee.
  • It comes from one of the Experienced tier quests.

The bank restriction is deliberate. It stops the item from turning Bones to Peaches into a best-in-slot combat spell.

+10 Ranged Attack Amulet

A tradeable amulet with +10 Ranged Attack and no level requirements.

  • Awarded free on completing one Intermediate quest.
  • Unlocks a shop to buy more.
  • Aimed at new players who do not have an Amulet of Glory or the Slayer level for a Necklace of Fangs.

Low-Level Hunter Creatures

A new Novice quest unlocks low-level Hunter methods:

  • One method with creatures at level 1 and level 12.
  • Two new birds at level 1 and level 17.
  • The higher-level creatures drop items used in the quest's reward.
  • None are added to Hunter Rumours, because the rumour list starts at level 19.
  • New low-level Hunter spots are also coming to Musa Point, Al Kharid and Falador.

Darts Removed From the Poll

Jagex originally proposed two new low-level darts. After feedback, both were removed. The concerns were item bloat, overlap with Tourist Trap, and the fact that new players can simply use knives.

Jagex said it will address the early Fletching gap another way in future.

Questing Quality-of-Life Changes

Jagex is also shipping a set of quest interface improvements alongside Quest Month.

The "Starter" sort will recommend better quests for new players, and the Activity Advisor will use the same order.

Pin and Sort

  • Pin in-progress quests so they stay at the top regardless of sort order.
  • Move completed quests to the bottom of the list.

Miniquests Become Quests

Some miniquests will be converted into full quests, starting with Daddy's Home. The reason is discovery: miniquests have no minimap icon, so new players miss them.

XP Rewards for Old Quests

Quests that currently award no XP will gain XP rewards. Players who already completed them can claim the new XP from Perdu.

Quest Rating

A 0 to 5 rating prompt will appear after completing a quest. It is enabled by default and can be turned off in Settings.

Lumbridge Tidy-Up

Jagex is reducing redundant helper NPCs in Lumbridge and rewriting dialogue to be more in-universe. The stated goal is to make Lumbridge feel closer to its pre-2007 version while keeping the tutorialisation.

What This Means for You

  • Quest cape chasers: expect a busy month and several easy quest points.
  • New players: the recommended order and Lumbridge changes make the early game smoother.
  • Ironmen: the bone storage and low-level Hunter creatures are the rewards to watch.
  • Rangers: the +10 Ranged amulet is a cheap early upgrade, but it is not a late-game item.

Our optimal quest order and quest XP rewards pages will be updated as each quest releases. The Quest XP Planner already ranks every existing quest reward by skill.

FAQ

When is OSRS Quest Month?

November 2026. At least one quest releases each week, including The Graveyard.

How many quests are coming in Quest Month?

The Graveyard plus at least five additional quests. Jagex described them as small in scope but impactful.

What are the Quest Month rewards?

The polled rewards are a 28-bone storage item, a +10 Ranged Attack amulet, and new low-level Hunter creatures. The two new dart types were removed from the poll.

Are the Quest Month quests revealed in advance?

No. They are surprise quests, so the story and location stay secret until release. Notable rewards are still polled.

Do you need to do the quests in order?

No. They are separate small quests rather than a single storyline. Some may have prerequisites, which Jagex will reveal on release.

Will Quest Month affect the quest cape?

Yes. New quests add quest points, so the quest cape will require the new quests once they are live.
