You need 16 Quest points to start. There are no skill requirements, though 10 Mining (boostable) lets you defeat the Ancient Guardian by mining the pillars.

03Do I have to fight the Ancient Guardian in Below Ice Mountain?

No. With a pickaxe and 10 Mining (boostable) you can destroy the four structural pillars in the corners, which kills the level 25 Ancient Guardian without combat.

04What combat level do I need for Below Ice Mountain?

Combat level 15 is recommended. The only enemy is the level 25 Ancient Guardian, which can be skipped entirely with 10 Mining.

05Can ironmen complete Below Ice Mountain?

Yes. The cooked meat, bread, knife and beer are all obtainable in free-to-play, and ironmen can mine the pillars to avoid the fight.
