The Knight's Sword replaces Sir Vyvin's lost ceremonial sword and gives a huge 12,725 Smithing experience, one of the best early Smithing boosts.

- Redberry pie (not half a redberry pie)
- 2 or 4 iron bars (4 if you want your own blurite sword)
- 1-3 blurite ore (obtained during the quest)
- Any pickaxe

- Armour and food for aggressive enemies near the blurite rocks
- Fast travel to Falador, Varrock and Mudskipper Point
Walkthrough

- Start the quest. Talk to the Squire in the courtyard of the White Knights' Castle in Falador.
- Find Thurgo. Talk to Reldo in the Varrock library about the Imcando dwarfs, then give Thurgo south of Port Sarim a redberry pie.
- Get the portrait. Return to the Squire, climb to Sir Vyvin's bedroom in the castle and search the cupboard for a portrait while Sir Vyvin is not looking.
- Mine blurite. Give Thurgo the portrait, then enter the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon east of him and mine blurite ore along the southern wall of the icy area.
- Forge the sword. Talk to Thurgo with your iron bars and blurite ore to have the replacement sword made.
- Finish the quest. Bring the sword to the Squire.

- A blurite sword (if you have Thurgo make an extra one)
- Ability to smelt blurite ore into blurite bars (members)

03How do ironmen get the iron bars for The Knight's Sword?
Ironmen can mine and smelt them with 15 Mining and 15 Smithing, get them from dwarves in the mines under Falador, or use the spawn in the Wilderness near the Graveyard of Shadows.
04Can I do The Knight's Sword at level 3 combat?
Yes. No fighting is required, so run past the aggressive monsters in the Asgarnia Ice Dungeon to mine the blurite ore.
05Do I have to talk to Reldo for The Knight's Sword?
Only if you have not completed The Giant Dwarf. Otherwise you can go straight to Thurgo after speaking to the Squire.
06What is The Knight's Sword required for?
It is required for Prying Times. Members often do it early for the large Smithing experience boost.
07How long does The Knight's Sword take?
It is a short quest, usually taking around 20 to 30 minutes including the trip to the Asgarnia Ice Dungeon.
