Monkey Madness I unlocks Ape Atoll and the dragon scimitar, and gives large combat training rewards. It needs The Grand Tree and Tree Gnome Village, plus the ability to beat a level 195 Jungle Demon.

Walkthrough

  1. Start and investigate. Talk to King Narnode Shareen at the Grand Tree, fly to Gandius, get monkey bones and talk to G.L.O. Caranock at the Shipyard.
  2. The hangar. Return to King Narnode, then talk to Daero in the Grand Tree bar and again in the hangar. Solve the sliding puzzle (or pay Glough) and fly to Crash Island with Waydar and Lumdo.
  3. Ape Atoll and the prison. Travel to Ape Atoll, get arrested, pick the cell lock and escape. Talk to Garkor, then search the U-shaped building crates for monkey dentures and an M'amulet mould.
  4. Zooknock. Climb into the Ape Atoll Dungeon and use the monkey dentures, M'amulet mould and gold bar on Zooknock to receive an enchanted bar, then string it with a ball of wool into the M'speak amulet.
  5. The monkey child. Talk to the monkey child with the M'speak amulet, pick 5 bananas and give them to him, then wait for the aunt to pass and get a monkey talisman.
  6. Greegree and the Jungle Demon. Take the talisman and monkey bones to Zooknock for a greegree, then use the greegree to pass Ape Atoll safely. Talk to Garkor for the 10th squad sigil, equip it and kill the Jungle Demon.

Yes; it unlocks Ape Atoll and the dragon scimitar. Ironmen need a gold bar, which can be made with 40 Smithing, telegrabbed with 33 Magic and 5 Thieving, or obtained as a quest reward.

06What experience does Daero's training give?

After the quest, Daero offers either 35,000 experience in Attack and Defence plus 20,000 in Strength and Hitpoints, or 35,000 in Strength and Hitpoints plus 20,000 in Attack and Defence.

07How do I reach Ape Atoll after Monkey Madness I?

You can reach Ape Atoll by gnome glider and keep the monkey greegree to turn into a monkey in Ape Atoll and Ardougne Zoo. The bank and javelin store are only unlocked after Monkey Madness II.
