Icthlarin's Little Helper opens the city of Sophanem and the Menaphos carpet routes, and rewards the Catspeak amulet. It needs Gertrude's Cat and a cat, plus the ability to beat a level 91 monster.

Walkthrough

- Start at the camp. Talk to the Wanderer north-east of Sophanem, then talk to her again and give her a tinderbox and waterskin(4).
- First flashback. Touch the pyramid door to wake up inside, navigate the traps, jump the pit and open the west door. Solve the golden bird puzzle.
- The Sphinx and High Priest. Drop your cat and talk to the Sphinx (answer 9), then talk to the High Priest to the south-west.
- Second flashback. Re-enter the pyramid, jump the pit, take the correct canopic jar, kill the guardian and return the jar to its place.
- Embalmer and Carpenter. Talk to the High Priest, deliver linen, salt and sap to the Embalmer, then give willow logs to the Carpenter for a holy symbol.
- Final flashback and finish. Use the holy symbol on a sarcophagus in the east room, kill the level 91 Possessed Priest, then talk to the High Priest in the temple.
