Grim Tales is a Master quest with the single best Woodcutting experience reward in the game at 60,000. It needs Witch's House plus 45 Farming, 52 Herblore, 58 Thieving, 59 Agility and 71 Woodcutting.

Walkthrough

- Start and the griffin. Talk to Sylas by the Taverley house portal, then talk to Grimgnash on the north-east side of White Wolf Mountain and steal a feather from next to his nest.
- The stone tower. Give the feather to Sylas. At the stone tower south of the Mind Altar, climb the crumbling wall (58 Thieving), talk into the drain pipe twice, climb the beard (59 Agility) and talk to Rupert, then speak to Miazrqa.
- The witch's house. In the basement of the witch's house, play the piano notes E-F-E-D-C then A-E-G-A and search it. Add the shrunk ogleroot to your unfinished potions (52 Herblore).
- Shrink and find the pendant. Drink a shrinking potion by the mouse hole, climb the nails in the correct order, and take the pendant. Return it to Miazrqa and talk to Rupert.
- The beanstalk and Glod. Give Rupert's helmet to Sylas, plant and water the beans south-west of the Taverley tree patch, climb the beanstalk (59 Agility) and defeat Glod for the golden goblin.
- Finish the quest. Talk to Sylas, use a shrinking potion on the beanstalk and chop it down (71 Woodcutting), then talk to Sylas again.

It is a Master quest, but the only fight is Glod (level 138), who can be safespotted or fought with Protect from Melee. The main blockers are the 59 Agility and 58 Thieving obstacles and the 71 Woodcutting to chop the beanstalk.
05Is Grim Tales worth doing?
It gives 60,000 Woodcutting experience, the largest single Woodcutting reward in the game, plus 25,000 Agility and 25,000 Thieving, and the Dwarven helmet completes a Hard Falador task when equipped.
06Can I boost the skill requirements for Grim Tales?
Yes. 45 Farming, 52 Herblore, 58 Thieving, 59 Agility and 71 Woodcutting are all boostable; only Witch's House and the Glod fight are mandatory beyond the levels.
07What is the Dwarven helmet used for?
Equipping the Dwarven helmet in the Dwarven Mines completes a Hard Falador Diary task. It is otherwise a defensive helmet obtained from Glod.
