Walkthrough

Video walkthrough by Slayermusiq1.

  1. Gather goblin mail. Head to Goblin Village north of Falador and take three sets of goblin mail from the crates around the huts.
  2. Make the dyes. Dye one goblin mail blue, one orange and leave the third brown. Orange dye is made by using red dye on yellow dye - do not use both dyes separately on the mail.
  3. Show the generals. Talk to the goblin generals and offer to pick an armour colour for them.
  4. Finish the quest. Repeat the conversation until they settle on the brown armour, showing the blue and brown sets when prompted.

Goblin Diplomacy FAQ

01How do I make orange dye in Goblin Diplomacy?

Use red dye on yellow dye to combine them into orange dye. Do not apply them to the goblin mail separately.

02How many Quest points is Goblin Diplomacy?

It rewards 5 Quest points, along with 200 Crafting experience and a gold bar.

03What are the requirements for Goblin Diplomacy?

There are no skill or quest requirements. You need 3 sets of goblin mail, blue dye, and red and yellow dye to make orange dye.

04Can I buy the dyes for Goblin Diplomacy?

Yes. Blue, red and yellow dye can be bought from the Grand Exchange, or Aggie in Draynor Village can make them. Combine red and yellow into orange dye before using it.

05Do I need to dye all three sets of goblin mail?

No. Dye one blue, dye a second one orange, and leave the third brown. Dying the yellow mail directly with red dye makes red mail instead of orange, so mix the dyes first.

06Can ironmen do Goblin Diplomacy?

Yes. Woad leaves from Wyson, onions, redberries and goblin mail are all obtainable in free-to-play, and Aggie makes the dyes with coins and items.
