  1. Enchant the mirrors. Talk to Asgarnia Smith, take the etchings to Terry Balando, return and buy a drink at the Bandit Camp, then give Eblis the magic logs, molten glass, steel bars, ashes, blood rune, bones and charcoal.
  2. Smoke diamond. In the Smoke Dungeon, light all four torches with a tinderbox while wearing a facemask, open the burnt chest for the warm key and defeat Fareed (level 167) with water spells.
  3. Shadow diamond. Talk to Rasolo west of the Fishing Guild, pick the secure chest in the Bandit Camp for the gilded cross, trade it for the ring of visibility and defeat Damis (levels 103 and 174).
  4. Blood diamond. Talk to Malak in Canifis, have Ruantun make a silver pot, get it blessed on Entrana and prepare it with garlic and spice, then pour it on the tomb and defeat Dessous (level 139).
  5. Ice diamond. Feed the Troll child a sweet, kill five ice trolls on the Ice Path, defeat Kamil (level 154) with fire spells and free the frozen troll parents.
  6. Open the pyramid. Place all four diamonds in the obelisks around the Ancient Pyramid, run to the altar and speak to Azzanadra to unlock Ancient Magicks.

Desert Treasure I FAQ

01What skills do I need for Desert Treasure I?

53 Thieving, 50 Magic, 50 Firemaking (boostable) and 10 Slayer, or a gas mask instead of the Slayer level. Around 70 combat is recommended.

02Which boss is hardest in Desert Treasure I?

Kamil (level 154) is generally considered the hardest. Only fire spells damage him, and the Ice Path constantly drains your stats.

03What are the rewards for Desert Treasure I?

3 Quest points, 20,006.9 Magic experience, the ability to use Ancient Magicks, the ring of visibility and access to the Smoke Dungeon.

04How long does Desert Treasure I take?

It is a Long quest; the four boss fights and the pyramid section make it one of the longer Master quests.

05Is Desert Treasure I good for ironmen?

Yes. Ancient Magicks is essential for late-game content such as Desert Treasure II and the Tombs of Amascut. Ironmen should note the brief Entrana visit, the need for magic logs, and that lockpicks and antipoison can be pickpocketed from the Bandits nearby.

06What gear do I need for the four Desert Treasure bosses?

Bring water spells for Fareed, fire spells for Kamil, and high-healing food, prayer potions and antipoison for Dessous and Damis. A facemask or slayer helmet is needed in the Smoke Dungeon.
