Sleeping Giants unlocks the Giants' Foundry and rewards Smithing experience for forging a giant sword. It needs Smithing 15 and a few materials.

Items Needed
- 3 oak logs
- 1 wool (a ball of wool will not work)
- 10 nails
- Hammer or Imcando hammer
- Chisel
- 1 bucket of water or ice gloves
Walkthrough

- Start the quest. Speak to Kovac by striking the Hill Giant at the Giants' Plateau.
- Repair the workshop. Repair the polishing wheel, grindstone and trip hammer with the required items, then speak to Kovac twice.
- Fill the crucible. Search the crate for items and deposit them into the crucible east of the bank.
- Pour the mould. Select the fitting moulds Kovac describes for the forte, blade and tip, then pour the metal into the mould.
- Forge the sword. Cool and heat the preform with the waterfall and lava pool, then work it with the trip hammer, grindstone and polishing wheel.
- Finish up. Speak to Kovac once the sword is complete.
