- Gather ecto-tokens. Pray at the Ectofuntus at least 7 times and talk to the Ghost disciple for enough ecto-tokens, then talk to Velorina in Port Phasmatys and Necrovarus.
- Nettle tea and the old crone. Pick at least five nettles in Canifis wearing gloves, brew nettle tea, and take it to the old crone east of the Slayer Tower. Add milk to the porcelain cup and talk to her again.
- The wrecked ship. Board the wrecked ship north-west of the Ectofuntus, dye the model ship's flag the correct colours, talk to the Old man, and collect the three map scraps.
- Dragontooth Island. Row to Dragontooth Island from the Port Phasmatys docks, use the completed map and dig with your spade to find the book of Haricanto.
- Petition and robes. Translate the book with Ak-Haranu by beating Robin at Rune-Draw four times, get the bedsheet from the innkeeper, dye it and collect 10 signatures for Gravingas, then show the petition to Necrovarus and take his robes.
- Finish the quest. Return to the old crone, then talk to Necrovarus at the Ectofuntus and finally Velorina in Port Phasmatys.
