Corporeal Beast is a group boss in themiscellaneous bosses bracket. This encounter rewards practical loadout choices and repeatable mechanics more than flashy max-hit attempts.
Corp takes 50% reduced damage from any weapon that is not a Corpbane weapon on stab, so the fight is built around a Corpbane weapon such as the dragon hunter lance or Zamorakian spear. Protect from Magic only reduces its magic damage by 33%, and its dark energy core jumps between players and heals Corp unless it is weakened or killed.
For a first kill, join a group and use stab, bringing a Bandos godsword or dragon warhammer to lower its Defence during the kill. Ideally the team drains its stats with special attacks before committing to full DPS. Ironmen at 90 combat or higher have a separate Corp room to prevent stat-draining alts from assisting them.
