Bryophyta is a f2p/p2p boss in themiscellaneous bosses bracket. This encounter rewards practical loadout choices and repeatable mechanics more than flashy max-hit attempts.
Bryophyta attacks with Magic and can poison, and throughout the fight has a 1/5 chance to summon three growthlings that must be killed with an axe or magic secateurs. While they are alive she is immune to everything except poison and venom, so clearing them is mandatory rather than optional. Her chest, opened with a mossy key, is the only source of her essence.
For a first kill, activate Protect from Magic before opening the gate and bring an axe for the growthlings. She will not chase, so ranged or magic keeps you safely out of her melee range. Free-to-play players get the best damage from Fire Blast or Ranged with green d'hide, and her respawn is fast enough to chain kills.
