  • The Graveyard is OSRS's new 65-80 Agility course and best Marks of Grace source
  • Full XP/hr, marks/hr, Giant Squirrel, ornament kit and Graceful rework details.

The Graveyard is a new Master-level quest continuing the Olaf's Quest story, launching in November 2026. Its main reward is a 65-80 Agility course that Jagex intends to make the best Marks of Grace source in the game.

Here is everything confirmed so far, and how to prepare.

The Graveyard Agility Course at a Glance

  • Requirement: 65-80 Agility (quest completion unlocks the course)
  • Location: a dark underwater cavern full of sunken shipwrecks
  • Format: hybrid — about two thirds traditional rooftop mechanics, one third player choice
  • Best for: Marks of Grace, the Giant Squirrel pet, and a relaxed 65-80 training route

XP and Marks of Grace Rates

Intensity Agility XP/hr Marks of Grace/hr Feel
High intensity 65,000-75,000 30+ Active, one-tick stepping stones
Low intensity 55,000-60,000 14-15 One click, then 20-30s AFK

For context, Jagex places the high-intensity route around Ardougne Rooftop and just below Hallowed Sepulchre Floor 4. The low-intensity route sits comfortably ahead of Seers' Village.

The headline number is Marks of Grace: 30+ per hour would make this the best source in the game, well ahead of Ardougne's ~22/hr.

How the Hybrid Course Works

Two thirds of the course plays like a normal rooftop. The remaining third is where you choose:

  • Narrow ledge — slower, less XP, but you can click once and come back 20-30 seconds later. Perfect for mobile or second-monitor play.
  • Stepping stones — think Yama stepping stones. One click per tick to move through fast, if you can hold the rhythm. More XP for the effort.

Jagex is also taking inspiration from Vampyrium skilling sections, with potential double or triple clicks in a single tick for optimal traversal. Expect the stepping stones to be a genuine step up in difficulty.

Rewards

Giant Squirrel

The course is intended to be a competitive alternative to the Penguin Agility Course for pet hunting, which is currently the most efficient Giant Squirrel source. If you are still hunting the squirrel, this is a second place to try.

Fremennik Graceful Ornament Kit

A rare drop from a picklockable chest just before the final obstacle. Picklocking requires 65 Thieving.

  • If you get the kit, it recolours Graceful in a rugged Fremennik style.
  • If you miss, you receive Sunken treasure, a stackable item you turn in to an NPC in Rellekka for Marks of Grace.

Graceful System Rework (Proposed)

Jagex is polling a rework to how Graceful is bought. The proposal:

  • Graceful pieces become a one-time unlock. Once you have spent Marks of Grace on a piece, it stays unlocked on your account.
  • Duplicates are bought with GP from Perdu, not more Marks.
  • Prices: hood 60k, top 90k, legs 100k, gloves 50k, boots 65k, cape 65k — 430k for the full set.
  • Existing duplicate pieces you still hold will be refunded in Marks.
  • You will no longer be able to sell Graceful back to Grace for a Mark refund.

This is a poll, not confirmed. If it passes, it removes the biggest frustration with earning multiple Graceful sets for recolours.

Sailing Cosmetics

Two purely cosmetic sail rewards are planned somewhere on the island: Ghostly Sails and Fremennik Sails. They give no Sailing benefit.

Should You Train Here?

Yes, if you are between 65 and 80 Agility. The course gives you a real choice between effort and reward, and it should replace Ardougne as the default Marks of Grace grind once live.

  • Chasing Marks or Graceful recolours? Run the high-intensity route.
  • On mobile or watching something else? Take the ledge and bank the AFK time.
  • Hunting the Giant Squirrel? Add it to your rotation alongside Penguin.

How to Prepare

  1. Sort your Graceful plan now. If the rework passes, duplicates get cheaper, so do not panic-buy extra sets before the poll result.
  2. Train Thieving to 65 so you can picklock the ornament chest from day one.
  3. Bank 65-80 Agility. The course is designed for that band, so there is no reason to rush past it.
  4. Check the poll. It goes live in the days after 14 September.
