Frequently Asked Questions
01What determines the casket roll count?
Higher tier clue scrolls give more reward rolls per casket: Beginner (1 roll), Easy (1-2), Medium (2-3), Hard (3-5), Elite (4-6), Master (5-8). Each roll is independent — you can get multiple rares from a single casket. The reward value varies based on which items you roll.
02How rare is a 3rd age item from clue scrolls?
3rd age items are among the rarest drops in OSRS. Hard clues have a ~1/40,000 chance per roll for a 3rd age piece. Elites are roughly 1/25,000. Master clues are around 1/20,000. Getting a specific 3rd age piece is even rarer due to the large drop table.
03Should I open caskets as I get them or stack them?
It's purely cosmetic. Since each roll is independent, your reward is the same whether you open 1 casket or 100. Many players stack caskets for the dopamine rush of opening many at once, but there's no statistical advantage to either approach.
