Some OSRS calculations are quick mental maths. Others involve fluctuating Grand Exchange prices, complex formulas, or multiple variables that make back-of-the-envelope estimates unreliable. For those, we built three focused utility tools that save you time and give you exact numbers.
Bond Calculator
Buying membership with OSRS gold through bonds is a popular way to play without spending real money, but working out whether you can sustain it requires knowing your GP per hour and how much time you play.
The Bond Calculator takes three inputs:
- GP per hour - what you earn from your current money-making method
- Hours played per day - your average playtime
- Bond price - pre-filled with the live Grand Exchange price (you can override it)
The calculator then shows two critical numbers:
Time to earn one bond - this is the total hours you need to grind for a single 14-day membership. At 1.5M GP/hour with a 12M bond, that is 8 hours of work.
Daily GP target - this is how much GP you need to earn each day to sustain membership indefinitely. At 1.5M GP/hour for 2 hours per day, you need about 857K GP daily, which takes roughly 34 minutes of your session.
The bond price is fetched live from the OSRS Wiki API on page load, so you always see the current market rate. If the API is unavailable, it falls back to 12M GP.

Wilderness Level Calculator
The Wilderness combat formula is straightforward once you know it, but calculating attack ranges for every Wilderness level gets tedious. At level 30 Wilderness, a combat level 100 player can attack anyone between level 70 and 126. At level 50 Wilderness, that range expands from 50 to 126.
The Wilderness Level Calculator shows you the full table at a glance. Enter your combat level and see the minimum and maximum target levels for every Wilderness level from 1 to 60. Each row shows the level range so you know exactly who you can attack and who can attack you.
This is useful for:
- PvP account builds - knowing which combat bracket you will fight in at different Wilderness levels
- Wilderness bossing - understanding whether PKers in your level range can catch you at specific boss lairs
- Clan events - planning multi-combat engagements with target priority
The formula follows the OSRS Wiki: attack range is your combat level plus or minus the Wilderness level you are standing in. In PvP worlds, add an extra 15 levels to the Wilderness level for attack range calculation.
Barrows Repair Cost Calculator
Barrows equipment degrades over 15 hours of combat and needs to be repaired. The cost varies significantly depending on where you repair it. Paying an NPC like Bob in Lumbridge costs full price. Using a Player-Owned House armour stand with high Smithing gives you a significant discount.
The Barrows Repair Calculator lets you select which pieces you want to repair and enter your Smithing level. It shows:
- NPC repair cost - what you pay at Bob or the Barrows chest NPC
- POH discounted cost - what you pay at an armour stand with your Smithing level
- Percentage saved - the discount from the POH formula
- GE buy price - live prices fetched from the OSRS Wiki API, so you can compare repair costs against buying new equipment
The POH armour stand formula is: cost = NPC price × (1 − Smithing level / 200). At level 70 Smithing, you save 35%. At level 99, you save about 49.5%.
How These Help Your Account Progression
The Bond Calculator helps you decide between paying for membership with GP or real money. The Wilderness Calculator protects you from unexpected PK encounters. The Barrows Calculator saves you gold on maintenance. Use them alongside the Skill Calculators to plan your training, and the Max Hit Calculator to optimise your PvP damage.

FAQ
How does the OSRS Bond Calculator work?
It takes your GP per hour, hours played per day, and the bond price, then shows the total hours needed to grind one 14-day membership and the daily GP target to sustain membership indefinitely.
Is the bond price updated automatically?
Yes. The bond price is fetched live from the OSRS Wiki API on page load so you always see the current market rate, and it falls back to 12M GP if the API is unavailable.
How is the Barrows repair cost calculated?
The calculator shows the full NPC repair price and the discounted Player-Owned House armour stand cost using the formula cost = NPC price × (1 − Smithing level / 200), along with the percentage saved.
How much does a POH armour stand save on Barrows repairs?
The discount scales with your Smithing level. At level 70 Smithing you save 35%, and at level 99 you save about 49.5% compared with paying an NPC.
What is the Wilderness attack level range formula?
Attack range is your combat level plus or minus the Wilderness level you are standing in. In PvP worlds you add an extra 15 levels to the Wilderness level for the calculation.
How long does Barrows equipment last before it needs repairing?
Barrows equipment degrades over 15 hours of combat and then needs to be repaired. The cost varies depending on whether you use an NPC or a POH armour stand.

XP rates, requirements, and drop data in this guide are cross-checked against the OSRS Wiki and verified against in-game behaviour. Grand Exchange prices move daily, so treat GP/hr figures as estimates and confirm current prices with the OSRS Wiki price tracker before committing to a method.
