The August 2026 update nerfed bird house Hunter XP by 15-60% but buffed nest output by ~50%, so the value of a run now comes from nests (seed, ring, and egg nests all sell). For actual Hunter XP, active methods like deadfall traps, falconry, and Hunter Rumours are the better path.
