Pete Kayer PvP Challenges OSRS: Rewards & Training

On 7 October 2026, Pete Kayer walks into Ferox Enclave and offers what the game has never had: structured PvP lessons.

These are billed as PvP tutorials, but Jagex is explicit — the skills transfer directly to PvM. Prayer switching, gear switching and combo eating under pressure are raid skills too. If you have five minutes before a raid, this is the warmup.

What You Train

• Prayer switching — timed drills, then endless mode to track streaks
• Gear switching — F-keys + click chains, endless mode for muscle memory
• Combo eating — eat + brew + karambwan combos under damage
• PvP-specific: freeze escapes, special attack timing
• Final exam: a simulated fight vs Pete Kayer himself — gear switches, prayer switches, combo eats, sneaky specs, everything at once

Difficulty ramps from lesson to genuinely tough. Endless modes let you measure improvement over time rather than one-and-done the content.

Rewards

• Imbued God cape cosmetic kit (Zaros) — apply to a Mage Arena II cape you already earned; Max Cape variant included. Subject to poll opening within days of the 8 Sept announcement. Jagex says no Collection Log entry planned, open to change.
• First-completion supplies: blighted supplies + LMS points up to a cap — enough to try PvP/LMS, not a farm.
• The real reward: mechanics. This is the cheapest way to learn NH-style switching without risking a bank.

You need the base Imbued cape from Mage Arena II to use the cosmetic, so finish that miniquest first if you have not.

How to Prepare

1. Set F-keys now. Challenges assume you can swap gear/prayers quickly — practice on the Combat Calculator dummy rotations first.
2. Bring PvM mindset. If you raid, treat endless prayer-switch streaks as ToA/Tombs prep, not just PvP.
3. Vote. The Zaros cosmetic goes to poll — check in-game polls in the days after 8 September.
4. Do not farm it. Rewards are capped by design. Do first-clears, take the LMS points, leave.
